Grade 3/4 Hoop Time

Monday the 31st of July saw 10 Grade 3/4 teams head to the new Casey Stadium to play basketball against other schools. Some grade 6’s had been working with the teams for a couple of months prior to the day helping the students with their skills.
It was a great day and all students behaved well, learnt some new basketball rules and enjoyed playing with their friends.
Thanks to our coaches, parent helpers and teachers that came on the day.

Divisional Soccer Play-off

Our grade 5/6 boys’ soccer team finished the Interschool District Competition on top of the ladder.
This meant that they played off at the divisional play-off where we played Thomas Mitchel and Mary McKillop on the 28th of July at Sweeney Reserve.
The boys came away with a draw and a loss.

Regional Cross Country

On the 19th of June, Josh S and Dylan represented our School and Division and the Regional Cross Country.
It was a very competitive field with plenty of talented runners. Both boys did their best where Josh missed out by one place on making it to the State Cross Country. Well done Josh and Dylan!

District Girls Football

On Wednesday the 7th, the first Girls District Football day was held at Fountain Gate.
Berwick Lodge had 25 girls attend a round robin day against other schools in our district.
The girls had heaps of fun playing and getting muddy.

Here are a few pictures from the day.

Divisional Cross Country

Well done to Tia, Dylan and Josh who competed at the Divisional Cross Country at Pakenham.
They should all be so proud to make it to this competitive stage.
Dylan and Josh ran in the top 10 and will now head off to Frankston on the 19th of June.
Good luck boys!
